Tigers’ Sporting Excellence | April 2024
The TIS Tigers have left their mark on the past couple weeks’ events by achieving top results at the Pearl River Conference (PRC) and Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS) tournaments.
PRC Basketball Tournament
At the PRC tournament held at UISG on April 20th, under the guidance of coaches Mr. Aquino and Mr. Calangi, the Middle School boys basketball team secured 2nd place finish. Congratulations team!
PRC Red Division Soccer Tournament
At the PRC’s Red Division soccer tournament , the High School Soccer players took the field by storm with both boys and girls teams crowned as the ultimate champions of the tournament. Congratulations to all teams for your passion, dedication and teamwork towards victorious results!
ACAMIS Orange Division High School Soccer Tournament
The winning streak continued at the ACAMIS Soccer Tournament, held from April 18th to 20th. Hosted right here at the TIS Campus, we welcomed teams from 5 schools, including Hong Kong Academy, Nanjing International School, Harrow International School Beijing, Shekou International School and International School of Tianjin. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the rain proved to be no match for the young players' sporting spirits, and the Girls team secured a well-deserved second place, while the boys were the undisputed champions of the tournament.
