Celebrating Ingenuity At TIS Arts & STEAM Night
TIS hosted its annual Arts & STEAM Night, a school-wide event that showcases the power of creativity and critical reflection through artistic and scientific expression. The event highlighted student work from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, as well as providing a platform for local arts and STEAM related businesses and vendors to connect with the community.
The Arts and STEAM Night featured a diverse array of student-created artwork, designs, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) projects, produced over the course of the year via various subjects such as Science, Music, Math and even IB PYP inquiry units in the elementary years. Guests had the opportunity to explore interactive exhibits such as student led VR art galleries , hands-on demonstrations, and engaging activities that highlighted
the exceptional skills and creativity of our students. This dynamic showcase featured a collection of paintings, sculptures, 3D printing, robots, biology experiments and more, celebrating the diverse talents and interests of our TIS students.
These various facets of the Arts & STEAM Night reflect the breadth and depth of the curriculum at TIS and the effectiveness of the School's holistic approach that fosters creativity, innovation, and involvement in the community.
