Limitless Potential at PK's Fingertips!

Our Pre-K students wrapped up their unit titled "Who We Are," with a visit to the IDEA Lab and the help of a very special guest: their parents! At the Lab, they each chose a wooden object, planned their unique design, and selected which loose parts and materials to decorate their object with. This activity showcased the power of choice, and how, with guidance from their teachers and parents, there are no limits to what they can achieve!

At TIS, we believe that when children have the freedom to make choices, take ownership of their learning, and explore their own interests, they become active participants in constructing their knowledge and understanding of the world. This empowers them to become self-directed learners who are motivated, engaged, and excited about their educational journey. 

By the end of this unit, students understood the importance of making choices, considering the impact of these choices on those around them. This realisation will continue to inspire and guide them as they grow, reminding them that their choices shape their paths and that they have the potential to make positive changes to the world.
