I have been an educator for about 20 years, and this is my sixteenth year at TIS. I majored in Chinese Linguistic Literature in university, then I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and Doctor’s degree in Analytical Psychology. During my years at TIS, I taught both the Alberta and IB curriculum, and have experience teaching both IB Chinese A and B courses. Being a Mandarin Coordinator, my primary role is to manage and oversee the Mandarin program from kindergarten to Grade 12, and incorporate Chinese culture into learning by organizing Chinese cultural events which allows students from different backgrounds to be introduced to Chinese culture and develop their interests in Chinese. In my spare time, I really enjoy spending time with my dogs, and hope that all animals can be treated well.
