We are delighted to introduce Merrill Ross as our esteemed Athletics Director at TIS. With her diverse background and unwavering passion for sports, Merrill brings a wealth of experience to our school community.

Beginning her athletic journey as a student-athlete in Canada, Merrill graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Science, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Education, specialising in Secondary Physical Education and Science. She further honed her expertise by earning a Master's degree in Health and Social Wellness.

Merrill's remarkable career as an athletic director spans across several countries, including England, New Zealand, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Turkey, Malaysia, Brunei, and Morocco. Her exceptional leadership skills, combined with her ability to foster collaboration among coaches, faculty, and parents, have consistently resulted in enhanced team performance, increased participation, and heightened community engagement.

Passionate about inclusivity and diversity, Merrill actively cultivates a culture where every student-athlete feels valued and supported. She remains dedicated to ensuring the well-being of our students and will implement strategic measures to promote their overall development.
