Welcome to the 2021-22 School Year from the TIS Parents' Association!
Greetings on behalf of the TIS Parents Association (TISPA)!
We would like to extend a warm welcome to parents, teachers, students, and community members as we kick off the 2021-22 school year.
TISPA is a terrific network of parents involved in various events contributing to our school's learning enrichment and social engagement.
Our goals for the 2021-22 school year are:
To encourage more parent participation and friendships as we build upon our new team from the past school year.
To make the TISPA offerings available to all parents independent of their primary spoken language.
Our longer-term goal includes raising funds to provide learning enrichment opportunities that supplement the scholarships that TISPA sponsored over the 2020-21 school year.
Some of the activities that we organize throughout the year include providing wayfinding assistance for new parents on the first day of school, sponsoring food and gifts for the annual Teacher Appreciation Day and organizing popcorn sales during the monthly dress down days.
It certainly takes a village to support our vision to create memorable and meaningful experiences for our staff, students, and families. We welcome and appreciate your support in bringing this vision to life.
Join us for coffee and cake at the TISPA meeting kick off on Wednesday, September 15 at 2PM in the TIS 4th Floor North Wing Library to learn more about our plans for the new academic year and how you too can be part of our TISPA family. We look forward to meeting you!
